Thanks to the very generous owners of the luxury real estate company, The Daftarian Group, Beckstrand Cancer Association has a new supporter. Owners Lili and Paul Daftarian did their due diligence, interviewing Beckstrand President/CEO Lil Spitzer in the process, and decided to give a percentage of every sale in a year-long commitment to the nonprofit, which supports cancer patients financially by paying their mortgage, rent, medical bills, food and gas bills, etc. The announcement came at a party hosted by the Daftarians at the new Red O Restaurant in Newport Beach, with Spitzer saying, “We’re grateful to have the support of Paul and Lili Daftarian who are passionate about our cause and see the relevance of our mission within the cancer community.”
One hundred fifty supporters gathered at Rick Bayless’ acclaimed Red O Restaurant, where a stable of red Ferraris were parked out front, thanks to Ferrari of Newport Beach. Once inside, guests were offered Tres Sietes Tequila specialty cocktails, along with Red O’s tasty hors d’oeuvres, which drew raves all-round. An opportunity drawing benefiting Beckstrand included a two-night stay for two in luxury accommodations at The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Puerto Rico, as well as a gift basket of leading edge body treatments from the Center for Sculpting Aesthetics in Newport Beach.
Lili and Paul Daftarian presented a generous check to Beckstrand, as a gesture of their commitment. “We feel so strongly about Beckstrand’s mission and that is why we are giving a portion of every Daftarian Group transaction to Beckstrand Cancer Association,” Paul said. Lili added, “Beckstrand brings help and hope to people with cancer by paying their bills to lighten the load and reduce stress.”
In addition to GlamGlow, Ferrari of Newport Beach and Tres Sietes Tequila, the Daftarian’s expressed their gratitude to media sponsor, Riviera Magazine,Union Bank and State Farm Insurance. Guests departed with gift bags from GlamGlow, courtesy of owners Glenn and Shannon Dellimore.
